I live just north of webster city and i am looking for somewere to practice jiu jitsu. I was going to the des moines jiu jitsu academy and loved it, just to far to drive now. I know there isnt any place in webster city to train but if anybody knew of something near by that would be great.

There's a place in Boone, but I can't remember the name of it. It's right on the main strip there in Boone. I knew a cop there in town that was one of the instructors down there. If I come across his info, I'll let you know...or if I remember the name of the academy there.

There is no place in Boone now, they were practicing in Ogden highschool, they have moved it to madrid, they offer classes just about everynight, on thurdays and 5:30 they have submission wrestling and at 7:00 offer ju jits su. other nights they have general mma. go to www.boonemma.com click on the top contact that will get you in contact for the classes.

Acutaly the place you may be thinking of is a wrestling club downtown that is still there, years ago there also was a tae kwon do down town, and actually that has moved back into the wrestling spot down town, there also is some talk of adding box too, but just talk as of right now.

Hmm, no the place I'm thinking of was for Judo and BJJ. It was a wooden building and there for a while, they had the windows all boarded up or had posters over the windows. Oh well, no worries.
